Community Support & Involvement
Along with our clients and allied businesses on Whyte Ave and around YEG, Breathe Fitness is interested in helping out where it is most needed.
Len and Nicole at Breathe Fitness are grateful for the numerous opportunities to give back over the years.
Breathe Fitness regularly offers 2, 60-minute Personal Training sessions as silent auction items to local charities, sporting groups, and fundraisers at numerous local events.

Participating in fundraising initiatives for local charities
Please continue to give to the Jacob's Wish foundation to purchase iPads, grocery vouchers, and various other items to help children and their families at the Stollery Children's Hospital in Edmonton.
Stay tuned for next year's 2nd Annual 12-hour Hockey Game Fundraiser!
The Charity Hockey Game on March 4th, 2017 for the Jacob's Wish Foundation was an immense success!
The day started with copious amounts of billowy snow making the first 3 hours a veritable Where's Waldo for the puck.
The facilities and warm welcome into their home out at Saikers Acres by Brent Saik and his wife Janelle, along with his sister and their neighbours went a long way to make a cold day much more pleasurable.
The steady stream of steaming hot food provided by The Canadian Brewhouse in Sherwood Park complemented the cold bevies quite nicely.
Stay tuned for the donation total for the Jacob's Wish and the Stollery Children's Hospitals.
Our friends, family, and amazing clients and healthcare allies at Breathe helped Nicole and I raise meet and exceed our fundraising goal for a grand total of over $2,100.00 (almost 10% of the total donations collected)!!!
Thanks for giving,
Len and Nicole
Practicum Student Placements & Career Development
Breathe has hosted numerous practicum students from various institutions including NAIT's personal training diploma program, the University of Alberta's Physical Education and Kinesiology degree programs, and the Elevated Learning Academy.
We believe in providing mentorship to those aspiring to work in the fitness and wellness industry. Nicole and Len understand how valuable 'hands-on' tutelage is in the development of the coaching skills and overall confidence new trainers will need to succeed in the work force.
Len and Nicole have provided a more in-depth mentorship to many certified trainers in the past in a 'pseudo-client' capacity. The focus of these sessions was not on the physical training per se, but on helping the pupil fine-tune the practical skills, and 'tricks-of-the-trade' required to more efficiently train their current and future clients. The cost for this service is reduced from our normal rates.
